Quick & Tasty Healthy Recipe: Shrimp Lemon Creole Cups Only takes 5 minutes to Prepare & Its Low Glycemic
These tasty little treats will make your taste buds sing, and you can feel great about this tasty healthy recipe. This makes a great appetizer to bring to your gatherings and get togethers. Healthy Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb shrimp frozen cooked shrimp
- 1 Tbs butter melted
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1/2 tsp. Tony Chechere’s Creole Seasoning
- Inner lettuce leaf cups, use either Iceberg or Romaine
- Paprika for color
Recipe Directions:
Using frozen precooked shrimp, add shrimp to a bowl of hot water and let sit 3 minutes. In a frypan, melt butter, oil until melted, add crushed garlic. Add thawed shrimp to the frypan, mix in seasonings and lemon.
Spoon into leaf cups, top with paprika for color.
